Strawberry Cream Slushie

20 August, 2014 by Shundara@Savynaturalista

Strawberry Cream Slushie    Summer is not over yet or maybe I just don’t want it to be over. I really am going to miss the all the blueberries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines and cherries. Oh and I didn’t forget about the grapes; all those sweet and juicy raisins I made this year (I should do a video soon).

Strawberry Cream Slushie
I think everyone loves strawberries there an all American fruit, and they taste good with anything from chocolate, to pie and even champagne. I have been making fruit slushies this whole summer and the ones with milk were the best! Of course it has to be dairy free (thank you milk allergy). Once you sip this cool, creamy fruity drink you will be in heaven!

Strawberry Cream Slushie

2 cups strawberries
1 ½ cup almond milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1-2 tbsp. maple syrup (more may be needed, depending on the sweetness of your strawberries)
Recipe Directions:Place strawberries, almond milk into the blender and blend until combined; place the rest on the ingredients into the blender and blend until mix. Once done, serve in tall glasses with a straw in each.

I am not ready for summer to be over yet either! It went by way too fast this year. Love this strawberry cream smoothie, it looks absolutely mouthwatering!

I’m so sad summer is almost over as well. We’ve already said good bye to the strawberries 🙁 But this slushy looks so good! I wanna make it right now 😉

This is actually pretty close to what I drink in the morning for breakfast. I use honey instead of syrup and add a cube of frozen pureed baby spinach.

Slushies for breakfast sound so good.. I love using maple syrup because it doesn’t freeze like the honey would 🙂

Sniffs, I’m gonna miss the berry season! 🙁 What a beautiful slushie, I love that name actually…I use maple syrup and almond milk a lot in my smoothies and I want to make some strawberry slushies soon before the season is over!

This slushie looks amazing! I would love to make it. I read that it’s only 4 ingredients, however, I don’t see the ingredients listed anywhere. Thought maybe it was my outdated browser at work, so I pulled up this page on my cell, and same thing. Could you post the receipe for me pretty please? 🙂

Would vanilla flavored almond milk work and just not put in the vanilla if i use that?
