Aztec and Charcoal Healing Clay Mask helps unclog those pores and get rid of acne! With this easy Aztec clay and charcoal powder face mask DIY!
Charcoal and Bentonite clay is a powerful mixture to get rid of acne and unclog pores. It’s that time of the month for me, so my skin has been looking pretty oily and the appearance of black heads have been showing up more often than usual. It doesn’t help that it’s been pretty windy in the desert so I have been moisturizing like crazy.
Heavy moisturizing and aunt flow coming into town are just a disaster for my skin my combination skin to say the least! I decided to make this DIY mask to help keep my skin clear and unclog the gunk that has been clogging my pores of late.
Not only did this mask tighten my skin, but my pores appeared to be much smaller and the appearance of my skin tone was much lighter as if I had a glow. I just had to share this mask with you.
Aztec and Charcoal Healing Clay Mask Recipe:
2 tbsps. Bentonite Clay (I used heaping tablespoons)
1 tbsp. Activated Charcoal Powder
½ tbsp. Glycerin
½-1 tsp. Orange Essential Oil
20-40 drops miracle glow oil
30 drops tea tree oil
Aztec and Charcoal Healing Clay Mask Recipe Directions: In a small bowl add bentonite clay, charcoal powder and mix until combined. Once combined add glycerin, essential oil, miracle glow oil and tea tree oil. Mix all the liquids until combined. Place dry mask in an air tight container.
Please Note: Liquids need to be incorporated in the mask really well to work! So, if you need a blender to mix the liquids into the powder and clay do so!
