Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter)

3 December, 2013 by Shundara@Savynaturalista 7 Comments

Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter) I planned on making this pecan butter before we only had 2 jars of pecans left, but one thing lead to another and I was baking a lot of cookies and eating more then I should have. When I went to get a few to munch on I realized I better start the pecan butter before they are all gone. I am going to send my grandma some pecan butter and can’t wait until she tries it.. . Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter) Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter) My grandma is a Texas girl who grew up with pecan trees in here back yard. She is not a big sweet eater at all (it takes her a few months to eat one snickers bar). I like to send her treats that don’t have too much sugar. I know she will absolutely adore this pecan butter! Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter) Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter)   This recipe is pretty easy just throw the pecans in the food processor and grind them up until they become a creamy butter. It may not be as creamy as peanut butter would when you grind it up, but you will get it to smear nicely on toast.  Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter ( How to Make Pecan Butter) Cinnamon Honey Pecan Butter Recipe:
4 cups whole pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsps. honey
Recipe Directions: In a food processor blend pecans until they become creamy or you are able to see the oil releasing from the pecans. Turn off the food processor and scrape down the sides with a spoon or spatula when the pecans are not blending. Once the butter is creamy add cinnamon, vanilla and honey. Blend until the ingredients are incorporated. Place pecan butter in an airtight container and store at room temperature.

I’ve never tried pecan butter but it sounds incredible with the cinnamon, vanilla and honey. I love holiday homemade food gifts, they are so much more meaningful and from the heart – your grandma will absolutely love this :)

It is so nice of you to send your grandma a jar of pecan butter! She’ll love it.
And what a wonderfully easy recipe. I have to make my own nut butter soon.
