Lean Green Strawberry Smoothie

25 March, 2013 by Shundara@Savynaturalista

When it comes to greens I can tell you I am not always in the mood to eat them, but if I can sneak them into my smoothie recipes then I am one step in the right direction. I am still working on my protein smoothies; everyone I have made does not do well in photographs or has too much of an egg flavor. I am going to dub myself the egg white queen pretty soon; all my smoothies are turning into me buying loads of egg whites. I have become obsessed but I must and I will make the ultimate protein smoothie that will be outta this world…

You’re just like me with greens…I have a hard time fitting them in my diet and love to put them in my smoothies. This looks incredible!

When I went through the smoothie phase, I was going through 32 OZ. Plain Greek yogurt once a week, when it started hitting twice a week, I had to step on the brakes. I’m sure I had 10 of the tubs (for storage). The thickness makes shakes a good meal replacement.

Looks good. I’ve never used egg whites in a smoothie- is it good? I’m always confused because I thought eggs shouldn’t be eaten raw. Hm!

I love egg whites in my smoothie! Have you ever tried using oats in it for a thicker texture? ..But then again, I am Oatmeal Queen hahahaha
