Welcome to another episode of DIY Saturday! Today we are making a Zelda Rupee Body Scrub. This Zelda Rupees Body Scrub makes the perfect gift to give to any of your friends and family. This is the ultimate gift for the gamer in your house who loves Sugar Body Scrubs.
Please let me know If you would link anymore gamers body scrubs. This Scrub requires only a few simple ingredients that you can find at your local grocery stores. I am going to dedicate most of my DIY Saturdays skincare recipes to festive recipes that we all can enjoy looking at. This Zelda Rupee Body Scrub has a variation of lovely colors that illuminate in the sun. This scrub will also give your body a lovely shimmer.
You can also use Gel food colorings for this scrub they would be lighter and more vibrant, but you would not get a shimmer effects. But I think it will still look beautiful!
I think the green apple scent was the perfect fruity scent for this scrub. However, there are lots of gamer inspired scents, but I think Zelda’s rupee is more of a fruity scent, but not too sweet. Let me know what you think a Rupee scent is. I have heard melon, crisp apple and even pumpkins. I added Miracle Glow Oil to the recipe and it makes a wonderful gift. Zelda Rupee Body Scrub Recipe:
1 ¾ cup sugar
¾ cup sunflower oil
1 tbsp. Kaolin Clay
20- 30 drops miracle glow oil
20-40 drops glycerin
30-40 Green Apple Fragrance Oil
¼ tsp. Mica (Gel Food Coloring Optional)
