I know this may sound like a stupid question, but do you use food olive oil and coconut oil or the olive and coconut oil used for hair? Or does it make a difference?

Thank you for sharing your great scrub recipes! Being a big scrub enthusiast myself, I thought I’d mention something about sugars. Since there are several choices I started reading more and found that demetra sugar, coconut sugar, along with plain, organic cane sugar is far surperior to the usual refined sugars we find in the “normal” grocery retailers. Trader Joes has these sugars, all for under $5. If you don’t have a Traders, I’m sure another heath food store nearby would have these. It makes such a difference. Thanks for letting me add my 2 cents.

I’ve been looking every where for recommendations on what brand of coconut oil to use but haven’t had any luck yet.
Both un/refined is acceptable… I just need to know where to start.

Can you help me out with some suggestions?
